1、 The coiled material can be welded normally above - 10 ℃. In case of snowy weather, it is necessary to remove the snow from the roof area; Pay attention to the weather change at ordinary times, and ensure that all lap joints are welded before snowy days.
2、 Due to thermal expansion and cold contraction, the uniform (Class H) coiled material below - 5 ℃ shrinks and deforms greatly, and cannot be stretched during construction. A large number of wrinkles will appear when the weather turns warm in the next spring, which has a great impact on the aesthetics. If the customer has high requirements for aesthetics, try not to use homogeneous coiled materials for construction in winter.
Comparatively speaking, this problem will not occur for category P coiled materials with stiffeners, and normal stretching can meet the construction requirements. However, it should be noted that the coiled material should be paved at relatively warm noon.
3、 In winter construction, the phenomenon of faulty welding is very easy to occur, especially in manual welding joints (the position where this welding started at the end of the previous welding joint) and T-joints.
The reason is that when the temperature is low, the coiled material becomes brittle and hard, and the initial welding position of the weld seam is prone to false welding. Therefore, during welding in winter, it is necessary to ensure that the temperature of the hot air is within the appropriate range (the air outlet temperature of the welding gun is about 380 ℃). When welding the joints, do not move the welding gun in a hurry, but stay for about 5 seconds to ensure that the coiled material is fully softened and the slurry is full before moving the welding gun.
Welding test shall be conducted before large face welding with welding machine each time, and large area construction shall be conducted after passing the test. The T-joint can be treated with scraper; Or stop the welding gun for a while, and press the slurry with force.
4、 When the temperature is low, the butyl tape bonded to the PE film basically loses its adhesiveness. Before large-area construction, a bonding test should be carried out. If it cannot be firmly bonded, the butyl tape needs to be heated with a welding gun during bonding, and compacted with a pressure roller after the construction of overlapping.
5、 As the PVC coiled material is brittle and hard under low temperature, if the construction is carried out on the soft insulation layer (such as rock wool or glass wool), when the temperature is too low, it should be avoided to step on the coiled material back and forth. Excessive stepping on the coiled material may cause cracking of the coiled material.
6、 The curing temperature of sealing sealant is 4~40 ℃, and the curing effect outside this temperature range is not good. Therefore, it is better to close the sealing sealant under the concealed gusset plate during winter construction to ensure that it is not easy to be damaged by people and is not affected by rain and snow before curing. If it cannot be collected under the gusset plate, temporary protective measures shall be taken.
